LTE Scientific secures NHS Supply Chain Decontamination framework placement, with new inclusion of pathology autoclaves
We are proud to announce that LTE Scientific has once again been awarded a place on the NHS Supply Chain’s Decontamination Capital Equipment & Associated Accessories framework. This achievement reinforces our position as a trusted partner in supplying high-quality decontamination solutions across the UK healthcare sector.
Effective from February 2025 for an initial 24 months – up to a total of 48 months, this framework allows us to continue providing essential decontamination capital equipment to organisations purchasing through NHS Supply Chain. Notably, for the first time, this framework includes the provision of pathology autoclaves, a lot for which we have also been successfully awarded.
We are delighted to report complete success in our product submissions, ensuring continuous supply of our comprehensive product ranges. These include our British-made Porous Load Touchclave System Sterilizers, alongside our newly added Touchclave-K series of pathology autoclaves. In addition to LTE Scopestore endoscope drying and storage cabinets (offering both shelved and vertical storage), and Danish-manufactured KEN IQ Washer Disinfectors and IQ10 Trolley Washers.
Our partnership with KEN Hygiene has significantly expanded our portfolio, enabling us to meet a wider range of decontamination requirements without compromising the exceptional quality and reliability synonymous with LTE.
Our equipment is already integral to many NHS facilities. Including the CSSD “super centre” at Broadgreen Hospital in Liverpool, which features four of our 42Cu.ft. porous load sterilizers with automated loading and offloading systems. Similarly, Queens Hospital Burton CSSD is home to five KEN IQ6 Washer Disinfectors, praised for their superior efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Our Managing Director John Lees has commented:
“We are thrilled to have secured our place on the decontamination framework once again. This year is particularly exciting as it marks the first inclusion of pathology autoclaves, further extending our capability to support the NHS and its evolving needs. At LTE, we remain committed to maintaining our position as a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of sterilisation and decontamination equipment. Our expertise enables us to deliver both innovative solutions and practical support to healthcare professionals and the NHS, whether directly or via the NHS Supply Chain.”
