We are thrilled to announce that as of 29 July 2022 LTE Scientific was acquired by SDI Group plc (SDI).
SDI designs and manufactures scientific and technology products for use in digital imaging and sensing and control applications including life sciences, healthcare, astronomy, manufacturing, precision optics and art conservation. SDI operates through its company divisions: Atik Cameras, Synoptics, Graticules Optics, Sentek, Astles Control Systems, Applied Thermal Control, MPB Industries, Chell Instruments, Monmouth Scientific, Uniform Engineering, Scientific Vacuum Systems, Safelab Systems and now LTE Scientific.
This acquisition sees the start of an exciting new chapter for the staff of LTE as it marks the end of an impressive 30 years of private ownership by the Perry family. The future looks positive for LTE under the SDI Group, who have an outstanding record of growth having acquired and developed many businesses in similar sectors over recent years.
LTE is a leading UK manufacturer, supplier and service provider of sterilization and decontamination equipment. This includes our renowned Touchclave range of autoclaves & sterilizers and our wide range of thermal processing equipment, including laboratory drying ovens, incubators, drying cabinets and environmental chambers. LTE is also the exclusive UK supplier of the sustainable KEN Hygiene range of life science and medical washer disinfectors.
With this year marking both our 75th anniversary and this new and exciting acquisition we are very much looking forward to seeing what the future brings.
