Touchclave – PL Series Porous Load Steam Sterilizers

Designed for smaller CSSD’s, LTE’s Touchclave-PL is a mid-sized rectangular chamber autoclave for porous loads.

Designed with a rectangular chamber and vertical sliding door, Touchclave porous load autoclaves offer maximum loading efficiency with a high level of standard features for unrivalled versatility.

Available in a range of sizes from 150 Litres up to 450 Litres, fitted with air detector as standard and complete with castors for easy manoeuvrability, with pass through options available on the 300 Litre and upwards chambers.

The Touchclave porous load steam sterilizer is set apart from the smaller autoclaves as it can be connected to the customers steam supply or fitted with its own steam generator.

316L Stainless Steel Pressure Vessel
Constructed with a 316L grade stainless steel pressure vessel. Fully compliant with the European pressure equipment directive 97/23/EC.
8-Program Touchscreen Control System
8 cycles can be stored into the memory as standard, providing a selection of load-specific cycles or giving users the option to develop and edit their own cycle profiles.
Internal Data Archiving
The Touchclave PL series is equipped with automatic electronic data archiving. This comprises of an internal data storage facility which allows up to 5000 cycles to be stored on a single flash-card.
Pre/Post Vacuum System
Provides quicker and more efficient air removal at the start of the cycle, ensuring that steam will penetrate deep into the load and not be affected by trapped air pockets. Can also help speed up the cooling stage, as the vacuum can be used to help dissipate heat from the load.
Steam Jacket
The steam jacket keeps the chamber hot in between cycles, and assists during the drying stage by flashing-off residual water in or around the load. This is required where dry loads are necessary.
Air Detector
The air detector monitors the steam pressure levels within the chamber at all times during the cycle ensuring that any air leaks or non-condensable gases carried over with the steam supply are immediately detected.
Exhaust Condensate
A re-circulating exhaust condensate unit enables discharge water temperatures to be kept below 70°C to avoid damage to plastic pipes and the environment. On vacuum models this feature also serves to protect the vacuum pump from live steam.
Pneumatic Door
Both sliding and automatic doors are locked and sealed pneumatically by utilising the inbuilt silent air compressor. The door is managed by the control panel to ensure it cannot be released until the chamber has reached atmospheric pressure and temperature.
Integral Silent Air Compressor
Touchclave Porous Load autoclaves use an inbuilt pneumatic compressor and receiver to create and store air pressure. This is used for the pneumatic valves and door seal as a seal and release mechanism. An uprated compressor can be used if ballast air is required.
Steam Generator or Direct Steam Heating
Designed to operate using either a steam generator situated beneath the chamber, or via the customers own direct steam supply offering greater utility.
Automatic Sliding Door
The automatic sliding door has a safety edge and auto-reverse system for operator safety, therefore the door will sense any obstructions during closure causing the door to stop and reverse direction preventing anything from getting trapped between the door and frame.
Loading/Carriage Trolleys
LTE offer a range of loading and carriage trolleys, from the Remeda semi-automated trolleys and fully automated systems to our own manual trolleys. The autoclave will be customised to allow for easy connectivity with access rails within the chamber for easy manoeuvrability.
Thermal Paper Printer
The thermal paper printer can be added to the autoclave for additional peace of mind, this will print out all cycle details and operational data as the program progresses.
Remote Data Archiving
A remote cycle data archiving facility via USB, ethernet or WIFI, can be added so that all cycle data, including any fault or alarm conditions, can be downloaded to a PC and permanently recorded. All archive data is 'checksum' protected
