Our UK production site remains fully operational and can offer some products from stock or on shortened lead times. Our Service Centre is continuing to operate a UK-wide team of engineers to carry out a full range of maintenance, service and testing to UKAS and HTM guidelines on both LTE and non-LTE brands of laboratory autoclaves, porous load sterilizers and washer-disinfectors.

Touchclave-F Series Rectangular Lab Autoclaves

Designed with a rectangular chamber and vertical sliding door, the Touchclave-F offers maximum loading efficiency, unparalleled flexibility and all at an economic price.

Touchclave-F models offer a wide range of capacities and are operated via the 7″ touchscreen interface, thanks to the in-chamber heating element they can be installed where mains water and drainage may not be readily available.

The Touchclave-F lab autoclave uses submerged heaters within the chamber to generate steam and has an inbuilt sensor to prevent the cycle from starting or continuing if there’s insufficient water in the chamber. Water levels can be topped up, and drained, either manually or automatically.

Complete with built in safety features including a safety microswitch fitted to the door only allowing the steriliser cycle to start if the door is properly closed and locked, additionally the door cannot be opened until the chamber has reached atmospheric pressure and temperature.

316L Stainless Steel Pressure Vessel
Constructed with a 316L grade stainless steel pressure vessel. Fully compliant with the European pressure equipment directive 97/23/EC.
Anti-Bacterial Epoxy Powder Coating
Coated in anti-bacterial epoxy powder coating which is designed to combat destructive microbes and to protect against the growth and migration of bacteria.
In-Chamber Heating
Submerged heaters within the chamber generate steam. The chamber water can be topped up and drained periodically,either manually or automatically.
8-Program Touchscreen Control System
8 cycles can be stored into the memory as standard, providing a selection of load-specific cycles or giving users the option to develop and edit their own cycle profiles.
Internal Data Archiving
All Touchclave-Lab and Systems-MP models are equipped with automatic electronic data archiving. This comprises of an internal data storage facility which allows up to 5000 cycles to be stored on a single flash-card.
Load Sensed Process Timer
A separate temperature probe monitors the chamber temperature and will not allow the cooling cycle to finish until both the chamber and load temperature below the set safe temperature (usually 80 degrees).
Fan Cooling System
The in-built fan cooling system helps to speed up the cooling process once the cycle has finished.
Integral silent air compressor
The TC Lab range uses an inbuilt pneumatic compressor and receiver to create and store air pressure. This is used for the pneumatic valves and door seal as a seal and release mechanism. An uprated compressor can be used if ballast air is required.
Pneumatically Operated Door Lock and Sealing System
Both sliding and automatic doors are locked and sealed pneumatically by utilising the inbuilt silent air compressor. The door is managed by the control panel to ensure it cannot be released until the chamber has reached atmospheric pressure and temperature.
Small Footprint
The TC Lab Range has been designed to have a small physical footprint and is available in two designs, one offers less depth and one less width providing an optimal space saving solution for any size room.
Pre/Post vacuum system
Provides quicker and more efficient air removal at the start of the cycle, ensuring that steam will penetrate deep into the load and not be affected by trapped air pockets. Can also help speed up the cooling stage, as the vacuum can be used to help dissipate heat from the load.
Air Ballast System
Fluid loads, especially sealed containers, normally need to be cooled slowly in order to prevent breakage or volume loss. Air ballast provides an over pressure in the chamber during cooling allowing the fluids to be cooled faster and with a reduced risk of breakage or volume loss.
Thermal Paper Printer
The thermal paper printer will print out all cycle details and operational data as each program progresses, giving the user printed validation that each cycle has completed and that the load has been sterilised successfully.
