Caron's Reach-In IR-C0₂ Incubator incorporates the latest technology in cell culture incubators in a large capacity platform.

Designed with customer convenience in mind, this unit features 25 cu. ft. of precise temperature, IR-C0₂, and controlled humidity space.

Caron's new design is the industry's first large capacity incubator to offer an automatic moist heat decontamination cycle that cleans the unit overnight. This incubator offers all the contamination control and cleanability benefits customers value in modern bench-top designs.

Features

• Temperature range of 10°C above ambient to 60°C is controlled with a drift-resistant RTD temperature sensor that provides stable temperature control over long periods of time. Minimal calibration is required.
• Unlike conventional steam generator humidification systems, Caron's new gVapor™ humidity system delivers controlled humidity vapor on an as-needed basis without wasting energy or generating heat.
• An IR (infrared) sensor is utilized to maintain a CO₂ range of 0 to 20%. This sensor measures only CO₂, not temperature or humidity, and allows for fast recovery after door openings. Your cultures will see virtually no fluctuation in pH levels.
• The drift-resistant IR C02 sensor provides excellent performance over extended periods of time.
• This incubator comes complete with factory-installed, heavy-duty casters and will roll through a standard 34" x 80" doorway without modification.
• Caron's gentle horizontal airflow system generates evenly distributed airflow across all shelf locations. Maximum uniformity and rapid recovery are maintained even under heavy cabinet loads.
• The ergonomically-designed door handle allows easy access into the chamber and a handle provided on the sliding stainless steel shelves makes it easy to access your valuable samples.
• The stainless steel interior is easily cleaned and highly resistant to corrosion.
• Heated, triple-pane glass door minimizes condensation on the door for a clear view of your product, and aids in rapid temperature recovery.
• The lockable control panel minimizes the possibility of unauthorized access and two access ports, one on each side of the chamber, make validation easy and provide user-convenience for connecting instrumentation.
• Designed with energy efficient components, including high R, CFC-free foam insulation, the incubator is powered by commonly available laboratory electrical outlets.

Decontamination Cycle

By simply pressing the "DECON" switch on the control panel, Caron's built-in moist heat decontamination cycle allows the user to automatically eliminate microbial contamination (including mycoplasma) overnight. Use of the 90°C decontamination cycle extends the time between manual cleaning cycles.

Caron's new Model 6024 is the only large capacity IR-C0₂ incubator on the market today with a moist heat decontamination cycle.


Customer Configurable Interior

Different incubator interior configurations are required for different cell culturing techniques and can change over time. Until now, users of large capacity incubators often purchased new incubators due to the inability to reconfigure their existing incubator interior in the field. By introducing the industry's first large capacity incubator with "tool-less" removal of interior components, users have virtually unlimited shelving configurations that are easily field installed. By offering multiple shelving configurations LTE's incubator can be reconfigured in the field to accommodate shakers, cell rollers, and other unique shelving requirements.

Our optional environmenta lly-friendly Condensate Recirculating System takes your tap water, then continuously conditions and recycles it, eliminating the need for plumbing in a water source or a floor drain.
